Development Update #2
We will try to make these short updates more regular from now on.
On the backend, we have finished and tested the minimal version of the core smart contract, specifically the deposit/withdrawal functionality and the creation of new mixers. It is now working as expected in the simulation. After some tinkering, we also made it partially work on the testnet. However, the current version of the PAB for the testnet has a certain number of bugs and unexpected interactions. For our part, we will report those issues and possibly help to resolve them. In the meantime, we will also focus on adding more features to the core functionality: namely, anonymity mining, protocol tokens, and the support for the decentralized multi-server architecture. Hopefully, in a few weeks, the minimal version of the dApp (the backend) will be running on the testnet. That is the plan for the next month or so.
On the front end, we are progressing with the new visual identity of the project. This should be finished before the end of the year.
Finally, we have refined certain design choices made for our protocol. If you are interested in the details, expect the next version of the whitepaper to be released soon. Stay tuned!
